WHAT IS THE EVENT REFUND POLICY
There is a no refund policy, participants must agree that refunds and deferrals will NOT be issued for any reason, including participant injury, illness, and any other issues out of the control of the event, including, but not limited to cancellation due to weather/lightning.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP MY PACKET FOR ME?
No. Each race participant is required to show both a personal ID (state license, picture ID) and any other CVD protocol requirements which will be communicated as we get nearer the race date.
I HAVE A FRIEND WHO CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT, CAN I TAKE THEIR PLACE?
Each participant must have his/her own registration. In the event of an emergency, race officials must have your emergency contact information on hand, therefore you are NOT allowed to participate using someone else’s registration. There are NO exceptions to this policy!
CAN I RUN WITH SKATES, STROLLERS OR PETS?
No, due to to race sanction requirements, no roller blades, bikes or pets allowed.
CAN I EXCHANGE MY SHIRT FOR ANOTHER SIZE
Exchanges will only be provided on race day and only if there is available inventory.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER POLICY
The event will go on rain or shine. However, if there is lightning or other hazardous weather we will cancel or postpone. Our full weather policy and weather alerts are HERE.
Dogs allowed?
No. The public park may have other dogs, but Oneness Run participants will not have dogs due to liability issues.
Strollers allowed?
Yes, you may run or walk with a stroller. The course is a mix and road, gravel please keep that in mind. We also ask to make sure to leave a passing lane/space on your left.
Is this a charity run?
Yes, Chicago Voyagers is our featured charity of the year. Also check out the other great work they do at “The Cause” tab at onenessrun.org
Gear Check?
No, parking is close by, please leave your gears in the car.
I have pre-registered now what?
You will get an email closer to the race day for options to pick up your goody bag earlier than the race day. Alternatively, you can come 30 min early on the race day and head to the registration table, where you will find your bib number waiting for you listed under your last name.
Chip timed?
The event is not chip timed, but we do record your time and place and you will be able to see your age graded results a couple days after the event.
Are there awards or medals?
We do offer finishers medals after the race, near the finish line. We do not have an official awards ceremony unless specified.
Is there a time limit?
We start taking down after about 1 1/2 from the start of the run/walk.
Is the course USAFT certified?
No.
Do kids have to register for the 5k?
Yes, everyone that runs in the event needs to be registered and have a bib on.
Can I change my distance?
Yes, you can. You can take a shorter route. Please see the course map on the website under “Event Info” tab or ask a volunteer.
Are headphones allowed?
Headphones are allowed on the course but please be alert as the course is open to the public and the park has many other activities going on.
Is this event awesome?
