Race and Packet pick up guide
Thank you for registering for
the Oneness Run 5K or 10K Run or 5K Walk! We are thrilled to have you join us
for this special event. To ensure you are fully prepared, we have outlined
important information regarding packet pickup and frequently asked questions
about the race day.

1. Packet Pick Up are scheduled for two days at two different locations and different times

2. Goodie Bags
The goodie bags are part of the package pick up. All paid participants of 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk to receive

3. Exchanges
Exchange of shirts is possible, provided we have sizes available.

4. Parking
There is ample parking in front of Grove #1. You can park in front of any grove
5. Race Start Time
10K Run starts at 7:20 AM, line up starts at 7:15 AM
5K Run starts at 7:30 AM, line up starts at 7:20 AM
5K Walk starts 7:35 AM, line up starts at 7:30 AM
The Kiddie Dash starts at 8:30 AM, Line up starts at 8:15 AM
6. What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least half an hour before the race starts to allow time for parking, warming up, and any last-minute preparations.
If you have already picked up your package, you can arrive, park your vehicle, stretch and be ready.
If you have not picked up the package, please arrive early around 6AM. As package pick up runs from 6 AM to 6:30 AM.
For the Kiddie Dash please plan to arrive around 7:45 AM or earlier. You may have to walk a little after parking as 10K and 5K events start early and participants will use up close by parking.
7. Where do I park?
Within the forest preserve there are four groves. We are at grove #1. There are three groves in our lane. Feel free to park in front of any grove, there are plenty of space to park
8. Bib
Bib is part of the package, and will be issued first come first serve bases at the time of package pick up
9. Course
The race starts in front of Grove #1. It is a round loop. Follow the signs, you cannot miss it.
5K, the course is one loop from start line
10K, the course is two loops from the start.
Please note that when you return from the first loop, please cross the finish line (cross the matt), and then return to the loop after crossing the start line (stepping on the matt again, same as done at the start of the first loop).
10. Water stations
There is a water station a mile and a half which is the mid-point. And hydration will be available at the end of the race
Water will be in small bottles. Please dispose of the plastic in an appropriate bin. Thanks
11. Medical
Medical doctors are on site. They will be stationed in the grove #1 shelter area First aid box will also be available in the grove #1 shelter area
12. Post-race celebration
Our MC will guide everyone towards different events as the race progresses. 10K to start first, then 5K runners, 5K walkers, Kiddie Dash
All activities are in the Grove #1 area.
One of the Oneness Run’s goals is to bring awareness about healthy eating and healthy lifestyle. Keeping this goal in mind while selecting the food and beverage offerings.
13. Results & awards
Race results would be available within 10 minutes of the event's completion.

14. Can I switch my distance of the Race?
The race can be switched half an hour before the start. There are no refunds for the down switch.
15. How can I pick up my packet?
Packet pickup emails are sent out with the details for prior to race day pick up. Listed above in item #1 as well.
Race day packet pick up is at Grove #1, next to the Registration table. From 6 AM to 6:30 AM.
16. Can a friend pick up my packet?
Yes, a friend can pick up your packet. Please let us know in advance who is picking for whom. Please share your registration confirmation with the person picking up your Race Package.
17. Do you have gear check?
Since the car park is so close by, there will not be a gear check.
18. Where is the port-a-potties?
Forest Preserve bathrooms are right in front of Grove #1
19. Race Day Registration
Depending upon the slot availability, Race Day registration will be possible but limited.
The availability of a shirt or size cannot be guaranteed for race day registrations.
20. What should I wear?
We recommend wearing Oneness Race shirt. But you are welcome to wear any other comfortable running/walking gear and appropriate footwear. Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Don't forget your race bib!
